The Canada Summer Jobs 2027 employer application opens October 27, 2026, and we are preparing our application. We are proposing two summer youth positions: a Community Outreach Assistant and a Volunteer & Events Coordinator.

Our Plan to End Homelessness in Sault Ste. Marie lays out seven practical programs: street outreach and housing navigation, an eviction-prevention micro-fund, landlord engagement, transitional housing, harm-reduction housing supports, a youth housing stream, and an Indigenous-led partnership stream — each with public targets, estimated costs, and a commitment to honest annual reporting.
